Kyle joined Donovan Group 11 years ago, following seven years in the banking and financial sector. Driving business growth has been a focus for Kyle which has involved developing engineering and software innovations into workable, commercial entities. This has included patenting the Bracketless Portal System, developing the company’s pre-engineering building system and software, and more recently managing a joint venture for the creation of the Tapered Box Beam.

Kyle holds a business management degree from the Uni­versity of Waikato and has a particular interest in finance, business strategy and manufacturing.

Brett joined Donovan Group in 1992, took on a directorship role in mid-2000 and co-founded Coresteel Buildings in 2005. Brett now places his focus on the advancement of a number of engineering and software innovations, including conceiving and developing the Bracketless Portal System, co-developing the company’s pre-engineering building system and software platform, and more recently, innovating the engineering behind the Tapered Box Beam system.

Brett has qualifications in project management, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and automation.

Tim spent 17 years in Japan where he co-founded ValueClick and later founded ValueCommerce. ValueClick was listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 2000 and bought out in 2004. In 2005 ValueCommerce sold a 49% stake to Yahoo Japan and later listed the company on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Tim is invested in numerous sectors and actively involved at the board level in four companies. These range from start ups, grow companies, to a publicly listed company.

Tim holds a BSc(Hon 1) in molecular genetics from the University of Canterbury. He joined Donovan Group in 2015 as a shareholder and director.

Haemish has been involved in project management for over 20 years and brings his strategic and operational leadership expertise to the team. Responsible for the overall management and continued growth of Coresteel Buildings, Haemish also oversees franchisee sales and ensures that both his franchisees and distributors are happy.

Since joining Donovan Group in 2012, Haemish has made his mark on the company by instilling a culture of delivery, teamwork and honesty at every level of the organisation. He seeks to connect with contacts beyond the standard client-contractor relationship, by simply being genuine and delivering what has been promised. This approach has led to the creation of long term relationships which deliver exceptional results.

Jeremy Parkinson

General Manager, Bloom – Creator Homes

Since joining Donovan Group in 2016, Jeremy has taken the Bloom business from a concept and managed the development of the infrastructure, brand and building system testing, through to its current state. Following an official launch in coming months, he will take charge of the 40 plus franchise distributors that are expected to join the group.

Jeremy owned and operated his own valuation practice in Auckland from 2004-2010. From 2011 through to July 2016 Jeremy was CEO of the Northland Rugby Union in Whangarei, before joining Bloom as General Manager. Jeremy has experience brokering commercial property as a licensed real estate agent, as well as managing the NZ Divisional XV, Heartland XV and New Zealand U21 team on various campaigns abroad for the New Zealand Rugby Union. Jeremy is a Registered Property Valuer and holds a Bachelor of Business Studies from Massey University in Valuation and Property Management.

Warren Dingle

General Manager, Shed Fix

Warren has an extensive background in sales and management, including a sales and manufacturing role with Multisecure in London and a Sales Manager role at Steel and Tube from 2000-2008. Warren has been with Donovan Group since 2008 and is responsible for sales and purchasing for the Shed Fix company.

Warren uses his networking skills to build and maintain customer relationships and in turn is a key factor in the growth of the Donovan Group customer base.

Jessica Price

General Manager, Design Station

Since joining Donovan Group in 2009, Jessica has developed her skills as a draughtsperson, detailing everything from large commercial complexes, through to a range of lifestyle homes and sheds. As the manager of Design Station, Jessica ensures the smooth operations of the draughting and engineering teams.

Jessica has a New Zealand Diploma in Architectural Technology from NorthTec.

Kerry McCollum

Head Engineer, Donovan Group

With over 20 years experience as a structural engineer and project manager, Kerry’s wealth of knowledge and experience has been of great significance in the development of Donovan Group’s key engineering innovations over the past seven and a half years. Kerry leads the engineering team to deliver innovative, client-focused engineering solutions.

Kerry is a Chartered Professional Engineer and a member of both the Institute of Professional Engineers New Zealand, and the Structural Engineers Society of NZ.

Operations Manager, Donovan Group

David joined Donovan Group in 2017 and has responsibility for the company’s manufacturing operations (health & safety, quality and productivity), starting with the creation of work packages for the machine centres, to customer delivery. David kick-started his career with a Bachelor of Technology in Manufacturing from Massey University and established himself during 10 years at Sunbeam Appliances, where he worked his way up to general manager of manufacturing. His subsequent role as operations manager at Golden Bay Cement included implementing a $100m site upgrade and in 2006 he completed an MBA from Massey University.

More recently David ran the Griffins biscuit manufacturing site in Auckland and later moved to Carter Holt Harvey LVL Plan at Marsden Point where he managed process improvement and reliability, later integrating these with quality assurance.
